Are you an experienced educator looking for exciting opportunities to work with Teaching Personnel, a leading educational staffing agency? We are currently seeking a dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join a dynamic primary school community in South Tottenham on a long-term contract basis.

The Role: As a Year 5 Teacher working with Teaching Personnel, you will play a vital role in inspiring and guiding students through their educational journey. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive classroom culture that promotes academic achievement and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver dynamic and differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of Year 5 students
  • Assess student learning needs and adapt teaching strategies to support individual progress
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and collaboration
  • Collaborate with colleagues and Teaching Personnel consultants to share best practices and resources
  • Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on student progress and addressing any concerns promptly

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and substantial experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably with Year 5 students
  • Strong understanding of the Year 5 curriculum and proven ability to deliver high-quality instruction
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion in education
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development and a passion for continuous improvement

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
