Year 4 Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a Manchester based Primary school in the Stretford, M32 area to help look for a Teaching Assistant (TA) with KS2 experience. The school is looking for a TA to help support their current year 4 class as the regular TA has had to take time off for maternity.

• £55 - £70 per day

The school likes to have a TA in all of their classes as they like to give their pupils all the help they need and deserve in order to succeed in school. the role will be beginning as soon as possible but the school isn't looking to rush into filling the position as they want to make sure they find the best fit for the school, pupils and the TA themselves.

The school is a 2 form entry Primary and has been graded "outstanding" in their most recent OFSTED report so is a really great environment to work as all staff are supportive as well as having well behaved pupils with a thirst for knowledge.

The role will involve working closely pupils in a classroom environment offering support where needed for the teacher and pupils as well as doing some small group work. The role is a full time role that will be for the rest of the academic year and will follow on into the next academic year.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
