We are working with a number of Primary Schools withn the Weymouth and surrounding areas. We have a number of positions available for Teaching Assistants to work with SEN children on a 1 to 1 basis as well as general TAs across the Early Years to Key Stage 2.

All of our positions will start on a temporary basis with the possibility of going permanent for the right candidates. The positions we have available are mainly full time working Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm and are long term.

We have a school in Weymouth who are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to help support children in their Reception class. They are looking for someone who has knowledge of the EYFS and has worked within a school environment before.

We also have a school in Portland who are looking for two Teaching Assistants to work in a Year 1 and Year 6 class. They are both 1:1 positions, one is to support a child who has Autism and the other is to support a child with behavioural difficulties. The school have asked for someone who is at least Level 2 Qualified and has previous experience of working with SEN children.

Finally, we have another school in Weymouth who are looking for two candidates to work as general TAs, 1 is across Key Stage 1 and the other is across Key Stage 2. They are asking for applicants to have knowledge of the National Curriculum and experience of working within a school environment. You will be required to work with small groups of children and on a 1:1 basis with certain individuals.
