Then look no further, a primary school based in Southall are looking to recruit a teaching assistant to support their year 4 class. This is a full time role, looking for an experienced teaching assistant.

As an excellent school they are looking for strong members of staff to support the learning of all pupils.

The role:

The role involves working within their year 4 classes, providing a mixture of general classroom support and one to one support to pupils that require additional help. This will involve helping prepare the classroom, organising classroom activities and group work and providing intervention group sessions when necessary. Part of the day will involve providing one to one support to their lower ability students and those with mild special education needs. Students with SEN and lower ability needs will need dedicated one to one support, including helping them understand work and maintain their focus.

Ideal candidate:

• A valid DBS, or willing to apply for one
• At least one years classroom based experience
• Worked with a range of pupils, including different abilities and special educational needs
• A good knowledge of the national curriculum, enabling them to provide intervention support
