Maths Teacher – Bolton Secondary School (Full-Time, After Easter)
A secondary school in Bolton is seeking a committed Maths Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis after the Easter holidays. The school is looking for someone with strong subject knowledge, a confident classroom presence, and the ability to support pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4.
In this role, you will plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons, adapt your teaching to suit mixed‑ability groups, and contribute to a positive working environment. You will be expected to maintain high expectations and play an active part in the department’s ongoing work.
Candidates be successful in this role if you can demonstrate the following:
- UK QTS and strong understanding of the Maths curriculum
- Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 (or confident NQT/ECT)
- Ability to maintain good behaviour and create a purposeful classroom atmosphere
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A commitment to supporting pupil progress and raising attainment
The school offers a supportive leadership team, a well-resourced department, and pay in line with MPS/UPS. This full-time role begins after the Easter break with scope for continuation based on performance and departmental needs.
