Job description

A well-established and successful secondary school in Oldham is seeking to appoint a dedicated and ambitious Teacher of Mathematics to join our thriving Maths department on a permanent, full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher who is passionate about raising attainment and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4.

The Role

  • Deliver outstanding Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students

  • Plan, prepare and assess work in line with the national curriculum

  • Differentiate learning to support students of all abilities

  • Contribute to the continued development of the Maths department

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold QTS 

  • Have proven experience teaching Mathematics at KS3 and KS4

  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding

  • Show excellent classroom management skills

  • Be committed to high standards, inclusion and student progress

  • Work effectively as part of a collaborative team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
