SEN Teaching Assistant – Year 6 (Challenging Behaviour)
Primary
A primary school in Northallerton is seeking a resilient and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 6 pupil with challenging behaviour.

The Role

Provide 1:1 support for a Year 6 pupil

Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour
-
Implement behaviour support plans consistently

Support learning and emotional regulation
-
Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and parents

Experience supporting pupils with SEN and challenging behaviour

Calm, patient and resilient approach

Strong behaviour management skills

Ability to build positive, trusting relationships

Committed to helping pupils succeed academically and socially

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
