Year 4 Teacher Required in Wigan Primary School

Overview:

Year 4 full time teaching role

Long term supply role

Salary: £22,023- £37,496 (depending on experience)

Are you experience teaching within Year 4? Do you have a strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum? Are you looking for a school where you are able to have a real impact and become a valued member of the team? Do you have a real passion for making in difference in pupils learning?

If so an average sized Primary School located in the Platt Bridge area of Wigan is currently looking to appoint a Year 4 Class Teacher to start from Easter 2019. The school has a real community feel to it with positive relationships between parents and the school and aim to create an environment where pupils are able to feel safe and are able to achieve their full potential. As many of the schools pupils come from a range of disadvantaged backgrounds, the Wigan school are looking for someone who is able to make a real commitment to the school, providing consistency and stability for its pupils, joining the foundations of a team that is looking to make a real difference to pupils learn and providing them with the skills that they need, in order to reach their true potential.

In order to be successful for this role you will need to:

  • Have a strong knowledge of the Year 4 curriculum.
  • Have a minimum of a one year experience working within Year 4.
  • Be able to demonstrate good practice, ensuring that all pupils are able to make progress.
  • Be adaptable and able to meet the needs of all children in order to create an inclusive environment, in order to enable all pupils to succeed.
  • Be a good communicator and strong team player.
  • Have a strong classroom presence and be able to implement effective behaviour management techniques.
