A fantastic opportunity has arisen in an ‘Good’ Primary School based in Sefton have a need for a Year 4 Teacher. Teaching Personnel are working closely with the Headteacher who is hoping to shortlist and appoint before the end of term. The post is a 6 months fixed term contract covering maternity due to begin in March 2017.
The school is improving performing and becoming one of the better schools in the area in terms of attainment in KS2 despite the pupils joining the school are below expected levels. Good progress is made by the pupils throughout EYFS, KS1 and KS2 and behaviour on the whole is exemplary. The Headteacher leads the school well and the SLT and teaching staff have high standards across the board.
The incoming candidate will be joining a small but successful team of 3. You must be a well organised, efficient and reflective practitioner with high expectations of child development, learning and behaviour. You must also be able to plan and deliver a creative curriculum, create a purposeful and stimulating learning environment and form good relationships with children, parents/carers and staff.
