Year 4 Teacher - South Liverpool Primary School

A primary school in South Liverpool are currently looking for a teacher to cover a maternity leave in a year 4 class; the post is likely to last 12 months. You will be expected to carry out full class teaching and school responsibilities and embrace and promote the school's strong Catholic ethos. The school has a larger than average number of pupils with special educational needs; because of this experience of planning and delivering differentiated lessons is crucial. You will also need a strong knowledge and understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, with recent experience to demonstrate this.

In return the school offers a supportive SLT, committed to supporting staff development. The Head prides himself on delivering in house training to ensure staff feel confident and up to date with any educational changes. The successful year 4 teacher will also be given adequate timetabled PPA time to plan alongside other KS2 teachers and have the use of a skilled teaching assistant in class that currently takes a lead in maths and literacy intervention groups.

The maternity leave is due to start after the Easter holidays and will last for 12 months.
