Year 3 Teacher- Oldham (OL4)

Teaching Personnel is working alongside a smaller than average sized Church of England Primary School, in Oldham, to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Year 3 Teacher. The role is to start immediately and will go on until the end of the academic year. The children are polite and love coming to school. The successful teacher must be great with the Key Stage 2 curriculum, behavior management and promoting positivity.

This 'good' rated Oldham school aims to ensure that each child achieves high standards and makes good progress, in relation to prior attainment in all areas of their school life. The students make good progress throughout all key stages and enjoy learning. Students are very well behaved and promote positive behaviour throughout the school. In lessons, they are motivated and eager to learn and are keen to do well. They listen carefully and follow instructions well.They are friendly and welcoming which makes this school a lovely environment to work in.

Teaching is good throughout the school. The lessons are planned carefully and are taught in calm and well managed classrooms. The children listen to their teachers carefully and follow instructions well. Teachers cater their lessons to their students' individual needs and create additional activities to help them to progress further. Students at the end of key stage 2 make expected progress in math's and English and teachers are very keen to raise attainment within the school.

The successful year 3 teacher must have experience working with key stage 2 students. They will be expected to plan, deliver and mark lessons. Experienced teachers and NQT's are encouraged to apply.
