Year 2 Teaching Assistant - Wythenshawe

Teaching personnel are currently working closely with a South Manchester primary school in the M22 area of Wythenshawe. The South Manchester School is looking to recruit a teaching assistant for the year 2 class. The role would require you to support the lower ability children on a small group basis to help with reach them the required levels with their SATs.

The school has received the rating "GOOD" in their most recent OFSTED report and is said to offer all the pupils a caring and secure environment in which to learn. The pupils are a credit to the school and their behaviour at all times is excellent. Learning attitudes in class are very positive. Pupils feel safe.

The role will involve working with new children from various backgrounds as the school is looking to give them the best chance of succeeding. The role will involve supporting lower achieving pupils in small groups in Reading, Writing and Maths. The school are looking someone who has previous experience with supporting year 2 pupils as they want to ensure their pupils can get the best support in preparation for their SATs.
