Year 2 Teacher - Gateshead
Are you committed to providing the highest standard of teaching with a drive to deliver inspirational and engaging lessons?
Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside a fantastic two form entry primary School located in the Gateshead area. The School has become an integral part of the local community and pride themselves in the fact the staff are very close with strong relationships formed between Teachers, Students and Parents. They are currently seeking an enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to lead a class of 26 vibrant children who have shown excellent potential while working towards their KS1 SATs. The position is a Full Time role to set to begin after the Easter Holidays in April 2019 and will continue until the end of academic year.
Details of role:
- Teaching a Year 2 Class of 26 pupils who show excellent potential
- Full time role commencing 22nd of April 2019 to last till the end of the academic year
- Must use initiative and present excellent leadership and supervisory skills
- Be responsible for presenting and preparing lesson plans that cater to the needs of all abilities
- Marking work to promote and facilitate Positive Pupil Development
- Located close to local bus links with free car parking available on the school grounds
The role requires:
- UK recognised QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Knowledge in regard to current Key Stage 1 curriculum
- A passion to deliver the highest quality of education through a range of enrichment activities and creative teaching
- Willingness to make a difference to assist the school in meeting requirements and raising standards
- Valid DBS (A Child Workforce that is accessible through the Update Service)
- Eligible to work in the UK (Right to work in the UK documentation)
