Year 2 Teacher

A Primary school in Leeds (LS9) that Teaching Personnel work exclusively with, are currently in the process of recruiting for a Year 2 Class Teacher for a full-time (fixed term) cover position starting in the new year, starting from January 2020 on a full-time basis at least until the end of the academic year (July 2020).  

Rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted in 2019, this school lies within the LS9 are of Leeds and is approximately a 10 minute drive away from the Leeds city centre. This particular school are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated teacher who can help raise pupil attainment in all core subjects across the KS1 curriculum in Year 2, starting from January 2020. The school are looking for a Year 2 class teacher who has recent experience in Key Stage 1 and with the KS1 SATs and who is interested in running new initiatives to help pupils progress to their maximum potential in this new academic year. This may involve delivering Interventions such as; Maths / Literacy Boosters, Phonics catch-up sessions, KS1 SATs Boosters etc. 

Teaching Personnel works closely with Leeds Trinity University which provides our candidates with the knowledge and skills they need to develop both personally and professionally as a teacher. Opportunities and key skills courses run all year round for candidates to name a few; Literacy and Mathematical Development across the Curriculum, Planning and questioning for progression, Early Reading and Phonics and Effective Behaviour management!
