Teaching Personnel have been helping Primary Schools in North Cornwall fill their vacancies for over 15 years now & we have learnt that it is important to act early!
- The Role: Year 2
- Start Date: September 2024
- Duration: 1 term initially with view to extend
The school:
You would be joining the passionate Team & take on the role of Year 2 Class Teacher. The school consistently aims to create a welcoming, happy, and inspiring place to learn and grow in. They primarily focus on the fact that their pupils understand the importance of learning from mistakes as well as persevering and being resilient when doing so.
As with all Teaching Personnel roles, there is a possibility of the successful candidate being taken onto a permanent contract.
The successful Teacher will:
- Have previous KS1 teaching experience (placements are acceptable).
- Be an enthusiastic and motivated professional.
- Be fully qualified; have a UK QTS prior to starting.
- Have phonic, preferably Read Write Inc, experience however not compulsory.
- Be an ambitious individual who aspires to lead.
- Be confident in classroom and behaviour management.
- Establish warm, supportive relationships with all pupils whilst also creating a welcoming, safe environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
