Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge our students, fostering a love of learning and ensuring each child reaches their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to parents and carers.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to the wider school community.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Year 2 or relevant Key Stage 1 experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to promoting the welfare of children.
