Teaching Personnel

Role: Year 1 Teacher

Schedule: Full Time

Start: September 2025

Location: Huyton (L36)

Pay Rate: £120 - £232.56 per day (depending on experience)

 

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join a vibrant and welcoming primary school located in the heart of Huyton, Merseyside. The school has a strong reputation for providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential. With a focus on high standards, creativity, and community engagement, the school is proud of its caring ethos and commitment to supporting both pupils and staff.

The successful candidate will be passionate about early years education, have a great understanding of the KS1 curriculum, and be committed to delivering engaging and high-quality learning experiences. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive team and make a real difference in the lives of young learners.

 

Key responsibilities:

-          Deliver engaging lessons in line with KS1 curriculum

-          Note development and be able to identify to those who need extra support

-          Work closely with SLT, TAs and SENCO accordingly.

-          Create a calm and warming approach to the classroom

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
