PPA Teacher – Kensington (L7)
Start Date: September 2025
Pay: Competitive rates (paid weekly via PAYE)
About the Role
The Headteacher and Governing Body of a well-regarded primary school in Kensington are seeking an experienced and proactive Primary Teacher to cover PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) across five classes, alongside a targeted intervention role.
The successful candidate will work Tuesdays to Thursdays, teaching across Years 1 to 5. In addition, a half-day each week will be dedicated to leading a small intervention group in Year 5 Maths, focusing on closing identified learning gaps.

This is a highly regarded and centrally located Kensington primary school, known for its welcoming atmosphere and excellent facilities. The Headteacher is widely respected in the local community, and staff turnover is notably low – a testament to the school’s supportive culture.
The position has become available due to the relocation of the current postholder and may lead to a long-term or permanent opportunity for the right candidate. This role is ideal for an experienced teacher seeking a part-time position in a well-resourced, inclusive setting.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Ability to follow and implement the school's behaviour policy
- Experience across KS1 and KS2 desirable
- Commitment to providing high-quality teaching and interventions
