Year 1 Class Teacher – Maternity Cover (Full-Time)
Location: Bognor Regis
Start Date: October 2025
Contract: Full-time, Maternity Cover (up to 12 months)
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 1 Class Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team to cover a maternity leave from October 2025. This is a wonderful opportunity to teach a well-settled and enthusiastic Year 1 class in a nurturing and high-achieving primary school environment.

The Role:

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, creative, and well-structured lessons

  • Creating a warm and stimulating classroom environment

  • Supporting the development of early literacy and numeracy skills

  • Working closely with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure every child thrives

We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS essential) with experience in KS1

  • Strong understanding of the Year 1 curriculum and phonics

  • A positive, nurturing approach with high expectations

  • A reflective practitioner who is committed to professional growth and teamwork
