Y4/Y5 KS2 Part-time Teaching Role - Blackpool
Job description

Part time Teacher required one day per week in a Blackpool Primary School
An exciting opportunity has arrived with Teaching Personnel which we are looking to source a teacher for.
The rate of pay will be competitive and you will be given the opportunity to use the school's planning format in order to aid the delivery of your lessons.
The children who attend school display exemplary behaviour and a number of teachers who have previously worked in school are very positive about the Leadership and the level of pupil's behaviour.
The client school, in the Blackpool area have approached the agency earlier today with the view to appointing a temporary member of staff through Teaching Personnel. The school is larger than average and serves a mixed catchment area. The current Ofsted grading for the school is GOOD and the staff who work in school are very warm and welcoming, especially to new members of staff joining the team from the agency.
The role is an unusual one as the Head teacher only requires a practitioner to cover for one day a week to cover management release time. The reason for the cover is the permanent member of staff who usually covers the management release time is currently off sick. This would be a perfect opportunity for a Newly or Fully Inducted Teacher to work in a GOOD school were standards are high and the opportunity for further work is also available. Recently a member of staff who worked in school through Teaching Personnel mentioned that the behaviour of the children is very good, and this is down to the level of support you receive from the Senior Leaders in school. It was also commented on that the Head teacher has a really strong open door policy where you can speak to him about any concerns you have in school and support will be put in place.
In order to be registered to apply for this role, you must contact the office and undertake the full registration with Teaching Personnel. This is a very quick and efficient process usually lasting around a week. You will need to have a Child workforce DBS which is registered with the update service. You will also need to have a proven track record in the Upper Juniors and be able to show this as soon as you arrive in school.
