I am currently working alongside the Headteacher of a one ½ form entry Primary School in Preston who are looking for a dynamic teaching assistant to work within their Y1 class. The successful candidate will work alongside their experienced Y1 Teacher providing support for the whole class. This school has been graded as GOOD by Ofsted and from working alongside this school I can honesty say they are a friendly welcoming team.

This school in particular have a number of 'looked after pupils', therefore if you have pastoral experience this is advantageous. Read Write Inc or Letters and Sounds Phonics scheme experience is essential and the successful applicant will lead daily Phonics interventions with small groups of children.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
