A lovely school in Bromley is looking for full time support staff to work closely with pupils in Primary (up until year 8). The school supports pupils with Social, Emotional, Mental Health difficulties and looks to make a difference to the children's lives. There are 50 pupils in the whole school, with 10 classes in total. A successful candidate will have the right attitude alongside some experience in order to meet the demands of the role supporting pupils with Challenging behaviour.
You must be committed to building a trusting relationship with the pupils, so you can successfully encourage them to participate in learning. The school welcomes those who have experience working in SEN schools, with a pro-active and engaging personality.

The school is very supportive of staff who seek career progression and offer support and training to those who are looking to establish themselves in the education sector.

The staff are made to feel valued and the atmosphere is more of one like a family. If you are currently dreading your mornings and are looking for a change in jobs then this job is for you.

You should expect:

  • Weekly Pay
  • Pay through PAYE
  • Training opportunities
  • Planned staff events (the school often arranges bonding activities/nights out)
  • Feel valued and welcomed
  • work with the loveliest pupils, who often become attached to their teachers and assistants (so you must be available for the long term)

There are several roles of 1:1, 2:1, support roles and Teaching Assistant roles as the school has taken on more pupils. Please call the London South SEN branch on 02075933070 if you are interested and quote 'B.A.B' for more information.
Please note, the school wishes to interview and trial potential staff on March 18th, so you must have a DBS (registered on the update service) and available to start straight away.

**Due to the vulnerable nature of the pupils we will be carrying out extensive checks and require references from previous employment that included working with children.
