We are seeking a Welsh speaking teaching assistant to cover across KS2 in a Welsh medium primary school in Swansea. The position is to start ASAP and will consist of targeted 1:1 and small group interventions to improve Mathematics and Literacy. You would also be expected to assist over lunch and breaks supervising the children. The ideal candidate will be Level 2 qualified (or equivalent) and will have recent and relevant experience supporting teaching and learning across KS2.
Candidates with the following are more likely to be shortlisted:
- Welsh speaker is a requirement
- CACHE level 2 or above would be an advantage
- Background in a similar 1:1 role working with pupils that have challenging behaviour.
- Preferably experience working in another school with high expectations.
