What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting both students and teachers within the classroom environment, while also supporting the schools Additional Learning Needs (ALN) provision
- Helping pupils stay engaged and confident in their learning
- Building positive relationships with students and staff
- Assisting with individual or small group support where needed
- The ability to implement strategies to manage and de-escalate behaviour effectively
- Contributing to a safe, inclusive, and encouraging school environment
What We’re Looking For:
No formal teaching experience? No problem!
We’re looking for individuals who can demonstrate transferable skills at interview – it’s your attitude and potential that matter most.

- Eager to learn and grow in a school setting
- May have previous experience working with children or relevant qualifications are a bonus, but not essential
- Passionate about supporting young people across a range of ages and abilities
What You’ll Need (We Can Help You Get These!):
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
- Level 2 Safeguarding training
- Two professional references covering 24 months of employment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
