Are you an aspiring teacher looking to gain experience within schools across Newport?

Teaching Personnel are seeking PGCE students and aspiring teachers who would like the opportunity to work with numerous schools across Newport and to have the chance to inspire and educate the next generation across a range of year groups.

You will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging environment for all pupils no matter what their ability to learn and develop.

You will have access to your own personal diary, where you can keep track of your bookings and can update your availability to suit your needs.

Job Title: Unqualified Supply Teacher

Location: Newport

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 – 15:30 (Full-Time)

Pay: Minimum £100-£120 per day

Start: May/June 2024

Requirements:

  • Deliver high quality lessons to pupils.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere in the classroom.
  • Being adaptable to work across different age groups and schools.
  • Ensuring you are up to date with the latest educational trends and practices.
  • Maintain good classroom management at all times.

As a supply teacher you will need to be reliable, enthusiastic and adaptable to work across a range of schools and age groups.

Essential Criteria:

  • Child only DBS certificate that is registered on the Update System.
  • Registration with the EWC (Education Workforce Council)
  • Qualified Teacher Status (or working towards it)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
