Tuition Available – 1:1 maths and English

  • Location: South East London
  • Pay: GBP25/hour (PAYE – no umbrella company)
  • Level: functional skills levels 1 and 2 and/or foundation GCSE
  • Students: mostly secondary school age and all are NEET (not in education, employment or training)

I am looking for tutors to join our books ready for the next academic year 2021/2022, you will be tutoring students who require 1:1 tuition whilst they are out of school.

Students may be out of school because of the following reasons:

  • Excluded because of behaviour
  • New to the borough and waiting for a school placement
  • Mental health difficulties – can’t cope in school
  • SEN – struggling to cope with a new or pre-existing diagnosis
  • Looked After Child (LAC) moved to a new residential placement

You will provide tuition on a daily basis (Monday to Friday) for either 1, 2 or 3 hours per day, dependent on the child.

You will need to be confident providing resources/materials and you will also write a brief progress report at the end of each week, in order to claim your payment.

Teaching Personnel is a PAYE company and as such, will pay part of your national insurance contribution and a pension contribution for you on top of your hourly pay rate. We are a large agency and have other opportunities available including tuition direct in schools via the NTP.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
