Tutors Wanted - Make a real difference in young lives in Wanstead
Up to £30/hr | Flexible Schedule | Immediate Local Opportunities

Are you an experienced educator with a passion for helping young people suceed? If so, I want to hear from you!

TP Tutors support young people, by providing 1:1 tuition to KS3 learners, in English and Maths, across Wanstead and surrounding areas. These aren’t just tutoring roles — they’re opportunities to truly make a difference, working with students facing a variety of challenges, including SEN and SEMH needs.

Here’s what makes our tutoring roles really stand out:
Real impact – You will be responsible for individually tailoring resources and sessions to each student’s needs, interests, and learning goals.
Flexible, rewarding work – You’ll choose your hours and work locally, with competitive pay up to £30/hour (no hidden fees).

We’re looking for educators who:

  • Have at least 2 years’ experience teaching or tutoring the UK curriculum
  • Understand how to engage and support SEN/SEMH learners
  • Are confident planning and delivering bespoke lessons independently
  • Bring patience, passion, and professionalism to every session
  • Hold (or are willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service

You’ll be expected to travel to learners’ homes, libraries, or schools.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
