At Teaching Personnel, we recognize the crucial role of exceptional tutors in inspiring and guiding students toward academic success. Through our partnerships with local authorities and schools, we are dedicated to delivering top-notch education. Currently, we are in search of an English tutor to join our team and provide exemplary tuition to students who may have experienced learning setbacks. Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of educational needs, including Year 7 Catch-Up, supporting Looked After Children, improving attainment for disadvantaged students, and offering valuable revision assistance for exams such as SATs, Phonics Testing, and GCSE or A Level Exams in the St Ives area.

We are looking for candidates who embody the following qualities:

  • Diligent and enthusiastic individuals with strong subject expertise
  • Confident, high-achieving, and self-motivated professionals
  • Exemplary role models with positive and inspiring personalities
  • Capable of engaging and supporting each student to reach their maximum potential
  • Possess at least a Maths and English GCSE grade 5 or above, or equivalent qualification
  • Adaptive and eager to learn new skills while taking ownership of personal development
  • Capable of monitoring and reporting on student progress and development
  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or possess demonstrable previous teaching experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
