Specialist SEN Tutor Opportunities with TP Tutors
Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional learning needs? TP Tutors is looking for caring and committed Specialist SEN Tutors to provide one-to-one educational support across Rochester and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity to help learners build confidence, develop key skills, and achieve meaningful progress.
Location: Rochester and nearby locations
Contract Type: Flexible part-time and full-time roles
Teaching Format: One-to-one tuition
Key Duties
- Deliver engaging and personalised tuition sessions
- Plan learning activities that align with individual educational needs
- Encourage learners to develop confidence, resilience, and independence
- Regularly assess progress and adapt support strategies as needed
- Create a positive and secure environment that promotes success
Ideal Candidates
- Experience supporting children and young people, especially those with SEN or additional needs
- Backgrounds in teaching, tutoring, mentoring, youth work, or educational support services
- Patient, supportive, and adaptable approach
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Understanding of safeguarding expectations and best practice
- Ability to travel within Rochester and surrounding areas

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
