Job Title: 1:1 Tutor (Home & School Settings)
Location: Northampton and surrounding areas
Hours: School hours (typically Monday–Friday)

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Tutor to support pupils in both home and school settings across Northampton. This role involves working closely with students who may require additional academic support, helping them to engage with learning and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored one-to-one tuition sessions in line with the pupil’s needs
• Support students with a range of abilities, including those with additional learning needs
• Plan and adapt lessons to suit individual learning styles
• Track and report on student progress
• Foster a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment

Requirements:

• Experience working with children or young people (teaching, tutoring, or support work)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
• Experience with SEN (Special Educational Needs)
• Ability to teach core subjects (English, Maths, or Science)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
