Job description
Are you a passionate and committed Mathematics Tutors? Do you aspire to help children in education?
We are seeking an engaging and enthusiastic tutor to support children in the North Yorkshire area.
This role may involve working outside of the classroom, inside the child’s home, learning centres ect.
The role:
- Plan and deliver high quality math tuition to students of varying abilities, including SEN.
- Assess the student progress in learning, engagement, assessment and progress.
- Create an engaging and supportive environment for children to learn
- Tailor tuition sessions around children’s individual needs.
Requirements:
- A good subject knowledge around the math’s curriculum.
- Previous experience tutoring or teaching
- Enhanced child workforce only DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one, support will be given)
- A degree in Mathematics or a related field (or equivalent experience)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
