SEN Tutor (QTS) – Lincoln | £25–£30/hr | Re-engagement & EHCP Tuition
Are you a passionate teacher with experience supporting learners who don’t thrive in mainstream classrooms? TP Tutors is recruiting SEN Tutors in Lincoln to work with young people needing 1:1 tuition outside of traditional settings — often with complex or unmet educational needs.
You’ll be providing structured, compassionate learning for pupils on reduced timetables, awaiting placement, or working to EHCP goals. These learners often require long-term consistency, creative lesson delivery, and a strong pastoral presence.
What You’ll Be Supporting:

Learners aged KS2–KS4 (some with pre-16 or post-16 pathways)

Needs including autism, SEMH, ADHD, PDA, and school refusal

Content across functional skills, foundation GCSE, and life skills
-
Sessions delivered at home, local libraries, or community centres

Flexibility to build rapport and structure learning from the ground up
You’ll Bring:

QTS (or equivalent) and a background in SEND
-
A patient, relational, and pupil-led approach
-
DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)

Up-to-date safeguarding
-
A car and licence (due to travel requirements)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
