Job description

1:1 Tutor – Exhall (CV7 9PP)
Location: Exhall and surrounding areas (CV7 9PP)
Job Type: Part-time (10 hours per week)
Setting: Pupil’s Home or School Setting

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced 1:1 Tutor to support a pupil in the Exhall area. This role involves delivering personalised tuition during school hours, either in a pupil’s home or within a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality 1:1 tuition tailored to the pupil’s individual learning needs.
  • Support progress in core subjects such as Maths, English, or other required areas.
  • Plan and adapt lessons to ensure engagement and understanding.
  • Encourage confidence and a positive attitude towards learning.
  • Track progress and provide feedback where required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in tutoring or teaching is preferred.
  • Good understanding of the UK curriculum.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage sessions effectively.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • Right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
