Job Title: 1:1 Tutor – Home & School Settings

Hours: Flexible – During School Hours

About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced and dedicated 1:1 Tutors to support pupils across the Bedworth area in both home and school settings during school hours. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide personalised educational support to students who require additional help outside of mainstream education.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored 1:1 tuition based on individual pupil needs
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the UK curriculum
• Support pupils with SEND, SEMH, or those out of mainstream education
• Track progress and provide regular feedback to relevant stakeholders
• Build positive and professional relationships with pupils, families, and schools

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of UK teaching or tutoring experience
• Strong understanding of the UK curriculum
• Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Patient, reliable, and professional approach

Desirable

• QTS or relevant teaching qualification
• Experience working with SEN/SEND learners
• Background in alternative provision or outreach tutoring
