TP Tutors, part of Teaching Personnel, is looking for experienced and dedicated 1:1 Tutors to provide personalised educational support to pupils across Brackley and surrounding areas.

Tuition will take place either in the pupil's home or a school setting, primarily during normal school hours. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers and experienced education professionals who are passionate about helping pupils overcome barriers to learning, build confidence and achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and personalised 1:1 tuition based on each pupil's individual needs.
• Plan and prepare appropriate lessons, activities and learning resources.
• Support pupils with their academic progress, confidence and engagement.
• Adapt teaching strategies and resources to suit different abilities and learning styles.
• Build positive, professional relationships with pupils.
• Monitor progress and provide appropriate feedback.
• Work collaboratively with parents, carers, schools and other education professionals.
• Maintain a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' UK teaching experience.
• Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
• Experience delivering 1:1 tuition is desirable.
• Relevant teaching qualification or strong teaching experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching approaches to individual learning needs.
• Patient, reliable and committed to supporting pupils' educational development.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.
