TP Tutors, part of Teaching Personnel, is looking for experienced 1:1 Tutors and Teachers to support Primary and Secondary pupils across Northamptonshire and surrounding areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced educators to provide personalised, school-based tuition, helping pupils overcome learning gaps, build confidence and make meaningful academic progress.

The Role

• Deliver engaging 1:1 tuition within school settings.
• Support pupils across Primary and Secondary levels.
• Teach English, Maths and/or Science.
• Plan and adapt lessons according to individual learning needs.
• Identify and address learning gaps.
• Support GCSE preparation where required.
• Monitor pupil progress and complete session reports.
• Work closely with teachers and school staff.
• Create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' UK teaching or tutoring experience.
• Experience working with Primary and/or Secondary pupils.
• Strong subject knowledge in English, Maths and/or Science.
• Good understanding of the UK National Curriculum.
• Strong communication and behaviour-management skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Ability to travel to schools across Northamptonshire.

Desirable Experience

• QTS, PGCE or another recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND, including ASC, ADHD, SEMH or dyslexia.
• GCSE teaching and exam preparation experience.
• Experience with EHCPs, personalised learning or alternative provision.

Locations

Opportunities are available across Northamptonshire, including Northampton, Wellingborough, Kettering, Corby, Daventry, Towcester and Brackley, depending on school requirements.
