Position: ESOL Tutor

Location: In person, in and surrounding Basildon. Working with learners in their homes or local libraries.

Job Type: Part-Time or Full-Time – You choose what fits best for you!

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver engaging, student-centered ESOL lessons tailored to individual needs
• Assess language levels and adapt your teaching to support each learner’s progress
• Create a fun, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
• Help students build not just skills, but self-belief

‍ What We’re Looking For:

• Passionate about education and making a difference
• Energetic, empathetic, and creative in your teaching approach
• Great at building trust and rapport with young learners
• Experienced or trained in ESOL (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA – or equivalent)
• A strong communicator with a positive, can-do attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
