Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity available for a dedicated and motivated individual to join a vibrant and inclusive client primary school in Stoke as a Trainee Teaching Assistant, starting in September 2025.
This role is perfect for someone seeking hands-on experience in a school environment—especially if you're considering a future in teaching, special educational needs (SEND), pastoral work, or educational psychology.

As a Trainee Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
• Supporting class teachers in delivering engaging lessons across various subjects.
• Working with individual students or small groups, particularly those needing extra support.
• Helping prepare learning materials and classroom displays.
• Assisting with tracking pupil progress and behaviour to help maintain a positive and secure environment.
• Building strong, supportive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
• Participating in ongoing training, mentoring, and professional development opportunities throughout the academic year.
This role offers a thorough introduction to working in education, with regular feedback, CPD (Continuing Professional Development) sessions, and opportunities to shadow experienced educators.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
