Full-Time or Part-Time Trainee Teaching Assistant (Level 2 Course Available)
Location: Skelmersdale
Rate of Pay: Competitive
Starting: September 2025

About the Role
As a Trainee Teaching Assistant, you will gain hands-on experience supporting children’s learning and development in Key Stage 1 classrooms. Working closely with experienced teachers and support staff, you will assist in delivering engaging lessons, help individual pupils, and contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements
• A genuine interest in working with children and pursuing a career in education
• A positive, nurturing, and enthusiastic attitude
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• A commitment to enrolling on and completing the Level 2 Teaching Assistant course (self-funded or funded externally)
• A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
