Teaching Personnel is seeking a compassionate and committed Behaviour Buddy to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in Heysham (LA3). This full-time role is ideal for someone who thrives on helping children overcome obstacles and reach their full potential.

 Your Role As a Behaviour Buddy, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with behavioural and emotional needs
• Use tailored strategies to encourage positive behaviour and active engagement
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to foster a nurturing learning environment
• Be a consistent, trusted adult who helps pupils feel safe, supported, and understood

• A calm, empathetic, and proactive approach
• Confidence in managing behaviour and supporting pupils with SEN
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Experience in education, youth work, or care (desirable but not essential)
