Trainee Teaching Assistant

We’re working with a mainstream secondary school in Rochdale seeking a passionate individual looking to start their career in teaching. We are looking for a passionate, determined, and confident person who can support pupils across a range of departments. Experience isn’t essential as on the job training provided. You will shadow teachers and other support members of staff within your role following their day. Future progression opportunities are available, for those wanting to develop their career with our ‘Cover Supervisor Programme’ and ‘Future Teacher Programme’.

 Both day to day cover and long-term cover options are available.

Our highly rated and Ofsted rated ‘good’ school is based in North Manchester and within walking distance of main bus routes. There is on-site parking and main motorways close by. It is ideal for anyone living around the Middleton, Rochdale, and Oldham area.

Our partner school is seeking 3 individuals to join them this October.

Key responsibilities:

• 1:1 tuition with students/small groups and supporting the department
• Assisting with lesson plans
• Supporting pupils across the curriculum
• Preparing the classroom for lessons and tidying up afterwards

Graduates looking for part- or full-time work, and have an interest in the education industry, would be ideal for this role.
