Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Trainee Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary, secondary and specialist schools in Lancaster and the surrounding areas, starting in September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with little or no school experience to gain hands-on classroom experience while being supported to develop the skills needed to succeed.

About the Role:

As a Trainee Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons
• Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
• Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
• Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment

No Experience? No Problem!

We provide access to a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Course that can be completed over the summer, giving you the confidence and knowledge to hit the ground running in September.
