Secondary schools are seeking Cover Supervisors and Higher Level Teaching Assistants, who are experienced with supervising within an educational environment, to help within their schools on an ad-hoc basis, as well as on short and long term contracts. These positions are likely to go permanent if the right person fits within the school environment.

The ideal Cover Supervisor will be able to cover classes, where the work is already planned and prepared. This does not have to be a subject specialism, however if you are educated to degree level in a particular subject such as Maths, English or Science this is desirable.

The ideal candidate would require:

  • Ideally a qualification relating to education/working with children, however experience will be taken into consideration
  • Passion for teaching and education
  • Have a creative approach
  • Be flexible and adaptable Passion for supporting students in their learning
  • Excellent communication

In return, Teaching Personnel can offer you:

  • A specialist Recruitment Consultant to assist you
  • CPD Academy, including courses on Team Teach & Safeguarding
  • Refer A Friend scheme
  • Regular work
  • Flexible working options (day-to-day, long term, short term)
  • Access to your own online portal to keep track of bookings and pay
  • Competitive daily rates

If you meet the above criteria and would like to be considered for the role, please call Teaching Personnel today and speak with Sam on 01604 521211. Alternatively, email a copy of your CV
