A superb opportunity has just arisen at a lovely Primary School in Battersea for a graduate Primary Teaching Assistant. They are now looking for an exceptional Graduate who is keen on gaining experience as a Teaching Assistant prior to starting teacher training. If this is you, then you need to apply ASAP!
This thriving Primary School is located in the London Borough of Wandsworth. The school is ideally located close to public transport making it easy for anyone to commute to.
If you're a top graduate who has constantly achieved well through your own studies, and you are looking to get on to a PGCE/ School Direct, this could be for you. As a general Teaching Assistant at this school, you will be fully supported by the class teacher, Deputy and Headteacher during your stay. The school knows how important this experience on offer is to you.
If you are successful, you will join the school in the Early Years or KS1. You can guarantee this experience will only enhance your chances of successfully completing your Primary Teaching course. This school can show you how to prepare and plan a lesson, how to deal with children who have English as an additional language and ultimately, how to cope with challenging behaviour!
For you to be successful at this school, you will need to be an enthusiastic and innovative graduate with an excellent academic record and a degree. You also need to have a passion within Primary Education.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
