An excellent opportunity has arisen within a highly academic secondary Academy based in Doncaster who are working in partnership with Teaching Personnel, seeking an experienced and qualified Textiles teacher.

From April 2019, we require an exceptional classroom practitioner with the passion and experience of teaching Textiles up to A level. This post is suitable for a newly qualified teacher, and will also suit an experienced teacher wishing to further develop their career and experiences.

The school requires a QTS/ QTLS qualified Textiles specialist teacher with an in-depth knowledge of the UK school curriculum. The post is to start April 2019 on a full- time temporary basis. We are keen to attract outstanding teachers with high standards who will contribute to the continued improvement in attainment and standards at this school and others

Requirements:

  • Textiles Specialist
  • Must hold a UK recognised teaching qualification, i.e. BSc QTS, BA QTS, CERT ED, PGCE, B.Ed
  • Hold QTS or QTLS and are registered with either IfL or The Education & Training Foundation.
  • Be an inspirational role model; committed to their own learning and that of others Have a positive mind-set and a desire to develop the whole person
  • Be committed to improving the life-chances of young people
  • Have excellent subject knowledge and a passion for their subject that is infectious
