Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a Behaviour Support Worker to join their busy team of staff. It is an Alternative Provision that is based in Middleton, Leeds (LS10) and is easily accessible by public transport from Wakefield, Leeds and surrounding areas. The role is full time, although there are some part time roles available as well, and will be ongoing. Successful candidates will be offered the opportunity to go onto a permanent contract with the school after a 12 week probation period.

The provision caters to students from Year 6 - Year 11 who access their learning here for reasons such as school refusal, behaviour issues and exclusion. These students have statements of education relating to mental health and social and emotional issues and they tend to come from traumatic, complex and vulnerable backgrounds. We are looking for someone who can be resilient to the challenging behaviour that will occur yet nurturing and person centred in their approach.

It is essential that you have Team Teach training or that you are willing to get the training.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
