A specialist school in Bradford are seeking to appoint a Team Teach trained learning support assistant to support pupils with special educational needs. You will have completed the 12 hour basic or advanced Team Teach course and have an understanding of meeting the social, emotional and mental health needs of young people using a holistic approach.
The school caters for pupils aged 2-19 with a wide range of special educational needs. It will be your role to support the class teacher by working on a 1:1 or small group basis with pupils, providing support across the curriculum within the classroom, during break and lunchtimes and to work with colleagues to assist with personal care needs, encouraging self help skills.
