Future Teacher of English – Salaried Training Programme (QTS Included)

Salary: Paid training (no tuition fees)
Contract Type: Full-time, 2-Year Programme

We are offering an exciting pathway into teaching for aspiring English teachers, combining hands-on classroom experience with high-quality training and mentorship.
About the Programme
This 2-year salaried teacher training programme is designed to develop confident, skilled, and knowledgeable English teachers.
You will:

Train on the job in a supportive secondary school environment

Gradually build your teaching timetable as your confidence grows

Receive expert mentoring and structured training throughout

Achieve Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) by the end of the programme

Earn a salary from day one – no training fees required
The Role
As a Future Teacher of English, you will:

Support and deliver English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially KS5)

Work closely with experienced teachers and mentors
-
Develop skills in lesson planning, assessment, and classroom management
-
Inspire students through literature, language, and creative expression

Play an active role in the wider school community

A degree (essential – English or related subject preferred)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
