Teaching Assistants required in Nelson SEN School

Teaching Personnel work closely with a Nelson based SEN School which caters for pupils with various needs including; Autism, Cerebral Palsy, SEMH Difficulties, Downs Syndrome and Learning Difficulties. The School is smaller than an average mainstream School but caters for pupils from KS1-4.

The perfect candidate for this role will have experience supporting pupils with SEN and be passionate about enriching the lives of children with difficulties, the candidate must be hard working and enthusiastic. The candidate must be able to dive straight in and get 'stuck in' within the class as the School need candidates with lots of personality - this is not a role for candidates who come from a mainstream background as the role will require a lot of personal care, a lot of medical care and the candidates will need be pro-active and have an understanding of complex needs.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

* Negotiable pay rates £50.44 - 55 per day

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
