Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: Wirral, Merseyside
Salary: £83 - £100 per day, dependant on experience
Agency: Teaching Personnel (Liverpool Branch)
Contract: Full-time, Part-time & Flexible Roles Available

About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers to provide high-quality support for students in secondary and SEN (Special Educational Needs) settings. Your role may include one-to-one support, small group work, and assisting students with a range of needs in order to create an inclusive and positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the teacher in delivering engaging lessons
- Assisting students with their educational and social development
- Providing one-to-one or small group support for pupils who need additional help
- Supporting children with SEN (Special Educational Needs), where applicable
- Helping to manage classroom behaviour
- Encouraging positive learning and reinforcing classroom expectations
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with children (in school settings, care roles, youth work, etc.)
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students
- Strong communication skills and a passion for education
- An understanding of SEN is desirable, but not essential as training will be provided
- A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one through Teaching Personnel
